A to Z ~V~ Being Vigilant

Violet Sunset
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks
about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
1 Peter 5:8

It is so easy to fall into a trap of getting distracted or angry.   When we keep our eyes (our hearts, that is) heavenward, we will be less likely to see the distractions the devil is tossing our way  If God said, “Pray without ceasing,” He must be willing communicate back with us, don’t you think?

  1. I like that church in Vetzan Italy!

So true to be vigilant and always on guard; and then of course to pray unceasely, still trying to work on that one.

  2. I believe distractions are the devil's delight.
My goodness, why else would there be so many of them? Our work's certainly cut out for us!
