Friday's Folly

Everyone knows not to put dish washing liquid in the dishwasher or the washing machine.   But did you know that putting laundry detergent in the dishwasher (because you ran out of Cascade) can have some undesired effects?

Not that I’m saying I did that.
Not that I’m saying I didn’t.

Thankfully, it didn’t bubble like the video below…but there were definitely enough suds to mop the floor.  Twice.  And both bathrooms.

*IF* I had tried such a thing.

  1. Can you imagine the mess of trying to clean that up? I have tried dish washing liquid in the dishwasher one time and I learned my lesson :) Have a good weekend!

  2. Oh, my. :o I have been duly warned!

    You know, I vaguely remember a bubble mishap...but I can't quite place the specifics. Just overflowing bubbles and mopping... Probably good that I can't quite remember. :}
