"Y" is it?

  • Why is it that when April arrives, not matter what the temperature is, chicks will wear shorts?  Not just shorts, but really short shorts…I-know-you-are-freezing short.
  • Why is it that men do not know handshaking etiquette?  They should wait for a woman to make that call; if she doesn’t extend her hand, you shouldn’t either.  (Did my dislike of being touched just come out?  I think it did!)
  • Why is it that some people are going to complain, no matter what happens?   (I find my own mouth doing that at times!)
  • Why is it that people like Kanye West, who has no talent, calls his garbage “music” and becomes a multimillionaire?
  • Why is it that people tend to excuse Kanye West’s very, very bad behavior?
  • Why is it that Hollywood calls the shots on what women should be?  A thigh gap?  Really, this is important to you?   Not everyone can (nor do they want to) achieve  95 pounds and 2% body fat.
(True to my form, I took advantage of the "Y")

  1. Hello there.
I'm here sharing some good news...God wants people to enjoy life on earth. He created the earth and everything on it, because He loves mankind. Soon, He will act to provide a better future for people in every land. He'll relieve mankind of the causes of suffering (Jeremiah 29:11). No human government has ever succeeded/will ever succeed in eliminating violence, disease or death (you only have to turn on the telly to see what's happening say in Baltimore). But there is good news. Shortly, God will replace all human governments with His own government and its subjects will enjoy peace and good health (Isaiah 25:8; 33:24; Daniel 2:44). God's Word, the Bible, tells us that if we want to be a resident of this magnificent Kingdom then we must get to know God and His Son, Jesus(John 17:3).
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Well, so, okay. I had to delete my comment. sighhhh. But, seriously...

At any rate, nodded my head thru this post and it reminded me of a old etiquette piece about greetings which included handshaking. It also included how to greet in church. Let me tell you, times have changed! Tho I do remember when church greetings were just as described.

Here's the link: http://www.bartleby.com/95/3.html It may amuse you.
